I keep things simple and clear. - It's easy to use! (my 10 year old shot his first movie in about 30 minutes) - It has some really good online videos/tutorials - The app is really good at showing you where the last frame left off and highlighting how much You change - It's easy to remove/replace frames where you might have messed up (left your hand in place or something) - Very easy to export to different formats. A few additional comments. - The camera seems sturdy enough that kids can't break it - The included book talks more about time-lapse photography and filmmaking than the software or camera (they are easy to use) - If you don't have a CD/DVD drive, despair not you . You can download software/drivers from their website. Finally. It is designed so that children can play and get acquainted with stop motion animation. it is NOT intended to create the next Hollywood blockbuster (but who knows?!). Overall I definitely recommend it!
