It does exactly what you think it does and does it well. Listen to the directions, but don't use too much spray or you'll end up with a white foam on your brows (it's soap, as expected). The coil that comes with it works, but as other reviews have said, you might use your own to do less work. it didn't irritate my eyes when I took it off like other soaps.
