I didn't have room for an office so I needed something to place my printer on a C-shaped desk that would fit under my kitchen counter. Now I can pull out the shredder (only when I need it) and tuck it neatly underneath. The thickness of the drawer allows you to hold a lot of paper. I like the drawer because I can pull it out to refill ink without removing the printer from the table. (because the table is amazingly durable). Assembly was easy, very simple, no problems arose. I hope to get another one.
