The zipper broke on the 5th day of school

The backpack is very cute, feels good and thick as if it is very durable. However, on the 5th day of school, the zipper broke - that hasn't happened to me in 6 years when I bought backpacks for 3 girls. I'll see if I can fix this somehow as I have 2 days left before returning it as I bought it so early. Disappointing, will not buy again
