The card is not formatted! good for computer and accessories

Tried on dash cam first and after about a week it said to reformat the SD card which took over 45 minutes and still not complete resulting in the card changed and the DVR worked fine right after. Then I tried using it with my GoPro and same thing. Reformat and it won't complete, left it for more than 60 minutes with no success. Maybe mine is broken, or maybe it just looks bad.
