To rate the fit and such as I don't have children. I got them for a local school who asked for a donation of snow boots. They needed almost 60 pairs of size 4. So I ordered the size not really knowing if they needed toddler, infant, or kids. But the lining of the boot was very soft and warm. I did run my hand through it and it seemed a decent sew job was done so that it wouldn't tear down too quickly. The soles had a really good tread so that in ice or snow they shouldn't slip as easily. Though it's hard to get a solid grip on ice without cleats. The outside is made of a faux leather/PVC so should wipe down easily if someone stomps through a rather murky bit mud and slush. The price was par for the quality and I just hope some little one enjoys the warmth on their feet as they dash through the magic of snow.
