With all the good reviews I thought this would be a good choice and easy to use. So there is no regulation. The support rod means the shower curtain needs to be two feet below the ceiling. In our case, that means it's under our shower head, which is unacceptable. It wasn't long enough for our bath either. Also, it was painful to pack. To make a longer bar there is a piece of bent aluminum that you need to press together and then insert into two sections of rail. I'm tall and quite strong but I couldn't get it to work by hand and I scratched myself in the process as the ends of the rails were unfinished and therefore had burrs. I managed to do this with some large pair of pliers but even that was a hassle. It says it comes with all the hardware you need, but it actually comes with drywall anchors, making it useless for those of us who don't have drywall. It's a good thing that not all of the hardware is included for every possible wall type, but they should be aware of that and not be misleading in their description.
