I would give this product five stars if there wasn't a problem - the flimsy slotted screws that come with the latch. The clasp itself is beautiful and high quality. It has a kind of rustic hand-forged look and is quite heavy. However, the screws were weak and bent when I started screwing them into the pilot holes I had previously drilled in the wood I was working with. Also the fact that they are slotted and not Phillips makes them more awkward to use. In the end I threw away all the cheap screws that came with the latch and bought new Phillips screws and had no more problems. Just a warning so you can be prepared.
