Converted my old tripod to a new design and am very happy with it. I bought a K&C Concept tripod two years ago, it was a more traditional design that has worked very well for me for the past two years. However, it was a bit bulky even when folded and carried in a bag, making it more difficult to take with you when traveling. I looked at the new tripod design and saw it, so I tried it and it was way better than its predecessor. When folded and stored in a carrying case, this tripod is only about 20 inches long. The tote bag is also well padded, making it easier to carry on the shoulders. The tripod itself is also much lighter, allowing for better portability. I love the new ball head design, it's easier and faster to attach/detach my Canon DSLR securely and it's easier to rotate it 360 degrees during a photo shoot. It can also be quickly transformed into a monopod by pulling the center joystick. The three legs look smaller but are stronger and can be locked/unlocked faster. The orange metal details on the tripod also make it much nicer and more attractive than the standard single color tripods. All in all it was a real upgrade for me.
