They arrived in their individual well protected packaging. They are exactly as in the photo, they have not lost their color or adhesion. The flash is small, big enough to screw/remove easily. I clean my alcohol-based product daily, as well as an oil specially formulated for calibrated ears, and I'm concerned that this will affect the color, but that's not the case at all. You cannot remove the screw feature as it is protected on the inside by a small section that runs just past the last rivet. It's great that you don't have to worry about tightening them or worry about having to re-tighten them every day. You are perfect!
