This is just a simple set of cedar logs. They keep the laundry smell fresh in my drawers, linen closets and garment bags. They don't work as well in large open areas like a closet. I like that they have grooves and are a bit more difficult to sand and clean to restore the cedar's freshness. But I feel like the air circulates better under my boxes so you're not just using one side of the block. Cedar blocks are also small enough to fit in nice shoes if you choose to store them in boxes under your bed or in a closet. I had no problems with oils or blemishes.
