It's annoying. Our school technology is amazing, and I'm relying on the little things I already have at home to make the hybrid accessible to all. This cable was the most useful cable in my trick kit. It's INCREDIBLY underrated for how amazing it is and I wish they were cheaper so I could give them to every one of my students. I have only received quality products from JYFT in the past and this USB-C to HDMI cable is no exception. In fact, it's not very expensive and even cheaper compared to what they are usually sold for. Here's what I use it for in class: - Students share time: Students find something interesting on YouTube on their phone, they can just connect their phone to a smart whiteboard and I can share it with the class - Student forgot their Chromebook ? Small because I have a couple of cheap used monitors and you can hook up your phone to one of them as an ad hoc solution. - Does the internet turn off at school? No problem. Let me hop on my phone with this cable and share my zoom on my smartboard. - I want to use 3 screens at the same time, but I only have one HDMI port on my computer? Don't worry, I also have a USB-C port - students missing lunch and complaining that they have nothing to do? Well, let me connect my phone to Netflix and we can watch Jurassic Park on a big smartboard. This cable is very useful. I currently have a cool set of 4 cables. The only thing that worries me is that they are not mass-produced enough, so the price for them can be high because now they are more like "special" cables. I would be incredibly sad if any of them "went for a walk" and didn't come back.
