The bracket is all metal and very strong. It was easy to assemble and install on a ceiling joist. The ceiling screws were quite large, so I used drywall screws with washers instead because they're easier to tighten. The bracket consists of two halves. The upper part has hooks on which the lower half hangs. Two screws attach the bottom half to the hooks, and the vertical angle is adjusted before the screws are attached. The mount works well and looks good.
