This is a great gift and my discerning wife loved it. The product conforms to the description and recommendations. Two minor annoyances that kept it from getting a five star rating. 1. The power button is located at the bottom of the sphere. To turn the light on or off, you have to take it in your hands, touch the ground and put the globe back on its stand. (The button should be on the back of the globe so you can use it as a simple touch light without lifting it every time.) NOTE: The company's video shows the light turning on and off at the top of the globe . My globe is engraved, so when the button is up, the engraving is upside down. 2. The light does not work when connected to the network. I'm not sure why that is, as this is a stationary item (not something you would take with you or travel with you) so it should light up when plugged in. Besides that, it makes a great gift. (And their support team answered my questions right away.)
