These were horrible super thin stretchy stockings that would clump up every time I tried to adjust them, they would clump up and hurt from the extra pressure and still left my legs fully swollen. Except for the areas where the compression would be just under the patella and thighs where there would be extra material because there was so much extra material to stretch, I could have 20 foot legs and still not fully stretch those sheer fabrics . made super thin stockings. So it didn't matter how well made the material was or how strong the fibers were because they were so uncomfortable. I fell asleep in them and woke up 2 hours later with severe pain and very red spots where the silicone covered these stockings up to the top of my thigh. My husband had to wake up and literally help me remove them from my skin because there were areas where they were very tight and squeezing the skin where the stuff would clump and then there was absolutely no reduction in swelling on anyone else Part of my legs so this looked like I had a tourniquet wrapped around my thigh and everything else was so swollen that it was too painful and difficult for me to take them off myself and when my husband wasn't around to take them off off my skin I had to call the ambulance just to take these stockings off because they were so tight and stuck to my skin that we couldn't get the small scissors from my seed kit between my leg and the material to cut them off. So don't waste your money on those useless stockings, unless your legs really are 20 feet long and you don't mind peeling the skin trying to take them off. To be honest I wish I could take a picture of how bad it was because it took days for the rush and bruising to go away after only sleeping with them for 2-3 hours. I only wore them for 2-3 hours because I put them on before bed in hopes of reducing swelling while I slept and kept my legs in a resting position to elevate them throughout the night.
