This pump is small enough to fit in the sandwich size ziploc in the picture, only about 6 inches long when closed. This is the size of my cell phone so I can put it in my pocket. It also allows me to pack my entire road bike rack kit into a small fanny pack instead of a larger backpack when I had to carry a longer one like a 9" bike pump. It also made my backpack very light, this pump weighs next to nothing. It's a game changer for my comfort on long commutes or even on my bike ride to work which is a 14 mile round trip. My only gripe is the ABS bleeder valve, I'm still learning how to use this thing, hopefully the company will post a video demonstrating proper use.
