Review on High-Performance KAPVOE Photochromic Cycling Glasses: A Must-Have for Men and Women Mountain Bikers by Eric Broad

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Well, if expectations aren't too high.

They cannot be compared with high-end glasses. However, with a few adjustments, the fit becomes relatively comfortable and the goggles do the job. The lenses look cheap. Photochromic changes are insignificant. They go from 0% light to 36% light blocking. This change is difficult to see with glasses. Definitely not the go-to pair of sunglasses but they are good for going out before sunrise or the onset of overcast weather. I cut off the nose piece by removing the bridge piece. It was too wide for me and pushed the glasses away from my face, allowing more air into my eyes than I wanted. They fit much better with just two separate nose pieces. Not sure I would buy them again but not bad enough to return. I'm still considering something that's a little over double the price as I don't think I'll be using it for a few years.

Pros
  • Glasses and goggles
Cons
  • Very expensive
