Since it's glass I put them in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and put the lids on the top rack. About once a week I remove the rubber grommet from the lid, wipe it clean, and let it air dry. They hold a decent amount of food. If the liquid content is on one side, it will move to the other side, although there is no leakage. The sealing is excellent. They stack well and I like the ventilation because I can put hot/warm food inside and pop it straight into the fridge at night.
