In general, the boots are not bad. I was very disappointed that the plastic runner on one of the boots broke when my son first wore them. It was all shattered, and when I went to check it all fell into lots of little pieces. Considering they came straight out of the box into my son's closet and only taken out once so he could try them on before first use, I'm guessing that was either at the time of shipping or before shipping. They still keep his feet warm and dry with or without the slider so I'm happy. I just want the plastic slider not to break easily.
