Great glasses at a good price - ignore those who say they don't block blue light

These glasses are fantastic! I won't go into all of their good points as they are summed up very well by other reviewers, but I'll go through all the one star reviews that say they don't block blue light. The color of light depends on the wavelength of the electromagnetic wave on which the light photon travels. Blue light has the shortest wavelength of light emitted by electronic screens (screens emit red, blue, and green light) and therefore has the highest energy per photon. This type of light is the most harmful to our health because it contains more energy than other colors. Light is emitted in the form of a spectrum, with each individual color corresponding to a specific wavelength of light. These glasses block certain wavelengths of blue light, this is evident from the blue light and the test card provided with these glasses. However, they only block a certain percentage of blue light in a certain part of the blue light spectrum. For anyone expecting a clear lens to block 100% of blue light, this is utter bullshit. If that were true, what would you expect when looking at something blue? Gray? Black? Nothing? These glasses block certain wavelengths of blue light that I think are the most harmful to our health and the effects of blocking that light are really noticeable. You can also see blue in prescription glasses with a blue light filter, is that also a lie and a lie? Very doubtful. If you want to block ALL/MOST of the blue light, you should buy goggles with a dark amber/yellow tint. This blocks a much wider range of blue light frequencies, but it doesn't look good and also changes the perceived color of everything else, two qualities that aren't very desirable. These glasses block some of the most dangerous blue lights, the colors still look clear and accurate, and they look really good! A win! Please use common sense when purchasing a product or writing/reading reviews about what you are actually getting. Not only do they block blue light, but I tested the blue light and card that came with the product with my mom's blue light blocking glasses and they failed!
