I'm a US size 16/18 and the fit is a little loose around the hips. This can be helpful if you have wide hips. My hips are 50 inches and my waist is 38 inches, so I usually struggle in that area. I love everything about this skirt except there were loose threads all over the bottom edge. If it weren't for the feeling of the net touching my feet, the threads would get stuck either between my toes or between my shoes and yank me off my feet. I pulled or cut as much as I could, but there always seemed to be a new loose thread. Nevertheless, I recommend it. Especially if you don't want to wear it every day. I bought mine for a specific dress and rarely wear them so loose threads aren't too much of a problem. For example, I can ignore it in the evening.
