I used to take my cat to the vet in one of those collapsible boxes that Petco sells. My cat did NOT like the box but she only goes there once a year so I couldn't see myself buying anything. Then she peed in the box. So I bought her this. It folds up, includes a comfy (I think) sleeping pillow, and has holes big enough to fit my fingers (she needs a finger to chew in exchange for a calm, non-crying trip to the vet). It works great. . She even ended up urinating in it after being given fluids during a semi-emergency visit to the vet. He is washed off immediately and is ready for the next time. In case you're wondering, my cat is happy and healthy despite previous box handling. She is 15 and now 3 and she is probably very happy with this purchase too.
