2011 Ford F150, works perfectly

Key works perfectly and programming is a two step process. First, Forscan shows the code that the key is not programmable / not stable to read. Picked up the key from the dealer to have it cut and then used Forscan to program the key. At least one key must already be programmed. The process took about ten minutes and the key is programmed perfectly. The second step is to program the actual locking/unlocking part of the fob.1. The vehicle must be electronically unlocked with an RKE transmitter, keyless keypad (if equipped), or door lock switch with the driver's door open before entering programming mode.2. Within 10 seconds, turn the key from OFF to RUN 8 times, ending with RUN on the 8th turn. If the module enters programming mode successfully, all doors will be locked and then unlocked.3. Press any button on the RKE transmitter within 20 seconds and the doors will lock and unlock to confirm the RKE transmitter has been programmed. Repeat this step for each RKE.4 transmitter. If the door locks do not respond to any RKE transmitter, wait a few seconds and press the button again. If the door locks still do not work, see the Handles, Locks, Latches, and Entry Systems section of this section. Make sure no more than 6 RKE transmitters are trying to program.5. Programming mode is exited when one of the following events occurs: The key is turned to the OFF position. Twenty seconds have passed since programming mode was entered or the last RKE transmitter was programmed. The maximum number of RKE 6 transmitters is programmed, after which you will have a perfectly working key fob. The Forscan part requires a two-month free extended license for the PATS program.
