I've been using this mouse for a few months now and it was a pleasant surprise that awaited $60 not to lose -80$. For a mid-range gaming mouse, the last has lasted 4.5 years. Even if I end up using 2 of these, I'm ahead. I didn't care about the accompanying light show, but you can turn it off, or at least switch to a less obtrusive pattern. It must be happening in the middle of the night, pushing a fast moving truck without a license. panels, it's such a bargain. Even the level of packaging at this price point was better than expected. For example, if it came in a white box with bold black print saying "Gaming Mouse" I would totally understand the need for cost reduction. Decent weight, slips on a decent gaming surface, I rarely blame it for breaking :) Grab one as a spare, you might end up using it once your new more expensive mouse arrives.
