I bought this because my 2 year old loves fire engines. I was struggling to find enough clothes with designs I liked so I thought this would be good. Instead, I chose to wear it over his black winter hat. I followed the instructions with the iron but it didn't stay put. I sew along the edge anyway when using patches, so it doesn't really matter. My son is delighted with his new hat. I have to choose the best hat and add a design that he likes, so it's a win-win situation. Definitely consider buying other autopatches that the company offers. One star deducted because some of the hardware didn't work, but I don't think most of them work properly. Maybe it's me :)
