We, like others, have busy lives and we don't always vacuum as much as we should... I admit I am more to blame than my soulmate. We have a Dyson pet vacuum, but it doesn't have enough juice to reach the whole house. So we were looking for a complement to the weekly vacuuming to help us through a busy work week. A few notes on these considerations: We have a one-story apartment of about 1800 square meters. ft. Most of our rooms have laminate or low-pile carpeting. I can't say anything about the quality of the vacuum cleaner for deep-pile carpets or for multi-storey apartments. Pros: 1) This vacuum is much quieter than our Dyson pet vacuum. It doesn't scare our cat and can be used while watching TV or doing other household chores. 2) This vacuum cleaner has a low profile. It can easily get under the sofas and all the furniture in our house. Thicker vacuums can be a problem, but this Bagotte does more than our cordless vacuum, and it does so in a passive way too. 3) Two brushes rotate at the front of the vacuum cleaner - see attached video. Replacing them is easy as they are easy to turn on and off. 4) This bagotte vacuum cleaner can move across multiple difficult surfaces such as carpets and changing floor material. To see it please watch the video I've attached; The vacuum cleaner can easily change the height of the carpet. 5) The suction power is excellent - both hair and larger particles are removed. We've seen a noticeable difference in the kitchen, where crumbs often fall from cooking. We also have problems with cat food thrown around by our feline friends. This is no longer a problem. 6) Includes remote control for precise control and planning. The vacuum cleaner makes a pretty smart impression and the programming suits our needs. 7) The battery seems to work well and charging is very easy; the vacuum cleaner knows when to return to its charging station. 8) We live on the second floor of an apartment building and we have an entrance hall that leads straight upstairs. The vacuum cleaner recognizes the only staircase we have and avoids falls. Bad (aka other comments): **Not sure how this vacuum cleaner navigates a deep pile carpet. Our apartment doesn't have it so please read the other comments before purchasing. Conclusion: ** This vacuum cleaner is a great addition to our permanent vacuum cleaner. With the addition of this machine, we have significantly reduced the cleaning effort. While I wouldn't use a vacuum like this for constant cleaning, it does offer some peace of mind during busy weeks.
