I am a remodeler and have wanted a watch for a long time. I liked the model of this hunting style pocket watch. The watch was delivered quickly. It came in a well protected gift box, complete with the niece's watch chain. This is a mechanical watch that I gently wind once a day. This works perfectly and I only have to adjust the time once a week and then only about a minute. I liked the watch so much that I now use it every day and not just during the remodel. I would recommend this watch to anyone who loves pocket watches. Cheap quartz pocket watches are common, and I used some of those initially. It may be cheap, but they don't work at the most unexpected moments. Battery life, movement quality is generally poor, and exterior finishes wash off easily. I don't have these problems with the new watch.
