I made sure to handle it with care, cleaned it with a specialized cloth on a daily basis, and never put it in my briefcase because I never left the house. I get out of bed one morning, open my laptop to get to work, and discover that the display inside has a crack in it! Outside of the screen, there is not a single chip to be found! Imagine my dismay when I saw that the laptop I had just closed had been damaged. It cost one hundred and forty thousand dollars. There is a widespread feeling that this was an assembly of low-quality parts. But you can't prove that, which means I'll have to learn patience and pay 50,000 dollars for repairs even if I turn out to be innocent in the end.
