Review on 🌸 Nippon Kodo 258 Seiun Chrysanthemum Incense Sticks - Blue 16 x 8 x 3 cm: Aromatic Bliss in Elegant Packaging by Diane Willis

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Interesting stuff from Nippon Kodo.

Very nice design on the box. Better than many I've had. Beautiful drawing on paper inside. These incense sticks are made in Hong Kong just like their cheaper Morning Star line. However, it doesn't have a small ceramic mount like the Morning Star. At the first start there is a short cloud of smoke, which then almost completely disappears. On the other hand, it makes the incense less interesting to look at. The aroma is pleasant and light. Some incense is sniffed by bulls. Some incense sticks are noisy puppies. This incense is a quiet kitty purring on the couch. Japanese-style incense sticks seem to be lighter, but this one seems to be the lighter one. The rest is also slightly different. Ash tends to disintegrate as it falls. Other Japanese-style incense sticks tended to maintain a cylindrical shape.

  • Complete set
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
