I read the reviews before buying and I almost bought it. I'm glad I followed my intuition and bought this product. First of all, some reviews said it looked like petroleum jelly. It is not. The consistency is very thick. The best description is a mixture of lipstick and petroleum jelly combined. This isn't a miracle cure for dry lips, but I feel the product lives up to its claims. I used it at night in combination with a lip scrub and lip balm during the day and my lips felt more nourished. It's thick enough to stay on and I love it. On a lighter note, the container it is housed in is amazing. I will keep it after the product is gone! Also, it's small but burns a little, so it should last a long time. Overall happy with my purchase.
