Suitable for filling bottles. I was tired of paying $10 for 100 balloons so I saved the water pens and gave it a try. Worked just as described. My husband and I ran the assembly line and were able to complete a set (35 pieces) in about 7 minutes. Tried them on a hose and they all filled up and fell off with no problem. Make sure to pull the balloon and ribbon all the way to the end of the wand or it won't inflate completely. Very satisfied
