Wow! So if it's a light grip, I can't help but imagine what stronger grips are like. First let me say this mat is THICKER than the original silhouette mat so you will need to adjust your cutting settings accordingly. It took me a few broken pieces to figure it out. My self-adhesive vinyl backing stuck to the mat and after setting it to 5 you can still see the cut lines on the mat. It has a stronger smell of glue and I eventually had to take a break from the smell. In terms of quality, however, the price-performance ratio is excellent.
