This is actually not my first encounter with Petite 'N Pretty, and it certainly won't be the last! I have a 12 year old with a severe peanut allergy. My daughter, who is extremely knowledgeable about makeup and skincare, is following in my footsteps. Of course, finding cosmetics that were safe not only for her allergies, but for the teenager in general wasn't easy. Until I found this brand! In fact, I have several products from this brand, and my daughter has several more that I bought with my own money. I was surprised that the cosmetics not only met my above-average quality standards, but also met all the standards for cosmetics that I would allow my child to use! When I stumbled across this review kit, I jumped at it, of course. ! It comes in a cute transparent zippered cosmetic bag, which has cosmetics inside. You get a small, compact mini palette for eyes and cheeks that comes with a blush and two eyeshadows, a mini tube of mascara, a mini lip gloss, and a double-ended makeup brush. The brush is not very high quality. The lip gloss isn't really bad, it's not super sticky or gooey, long lasting but has a bit of a metallic sheen which isn't for me but is for younger girls. The eye and neck palette is pretty good too, it has a decent amount of pigment, it's easy to work with and the colors are perfect for a young girl again. And the mascara is perhaps the best thing in this set. My daughter already had mascara before we got this set and I used it before. Really a very good formula! It's not difficult and not difficult at all to work with! To be honest it's probably better than 90% of the luxury adult brands I've tried! All in all it's an expensive kit for what's out there, no doubt about that. But I love the history of the brands and the fact that they're targeting an age group that didn't have a market before. Definitely recommend this brand and recommend checking out some of the other products!
