I've searched a large number of threads. I saw 1500 threads etc and became aware of this product, although it is at the top of the microfibre description, I was still thinking about the number of threads. I don't often buy sheets online, they were quite expensive. and thought to try. enough of course. When I got the sheet it was microfiber and not at all what I expected. So I re-read the description and at the very bottom of the list of attributes. it really says 1500 threads or so. I would like to say that I feel this is misleading marketing, it's all written there for sure and I take responsibility for not reading the whole thing but misleading 'thread count' Egyptian quality luxury linens. Luckily I don't see any other issues compared to some of the other comments. no holes etc and they actually seem quite thick, the 'red' is not true red - a bit like a flame color but the dark purple is very pretty.
