I have a rescue dog. Their fur has always been hard and coarse. This meal was of great importance. Everyone noticed that she was softening! I'm glad to see that it gives her more energy as well. She had eaten lamb based products before and they were nothing compared to softening her fur. I would recommend! *** UPDATE. As another reviewer explained, I think maybe something has changed with this dog food formula or the packaging I received was old? My dog got very excited when I stewed it and he started eating right away. Now with the bag I bought on Amazon, it leaves the same bowl for days. Her fur isn't as soft anymore and I've noticed her bowel movements have changed. Dog food pellets used to be shiny and almost greasy when I bit into them and touched them, but now it's not so shiny and greasy. I bought a newer bag from the store and brought it home this weekend to compare, maybe the Amazon purchase was just outdated? I could tell straight away that my dog was worried about the unopened new bag and it smelled stronger (I didn't even open it so the smell is strong haha). When I open a new one to compare groceries, I hope it's obvious if the other old bag was stale or "ruined". I don't think it's Amazon's fault, it appears to be a poor quality case.
