Review on 🔧 Dorman 902-5950 Thermostat Housing Assembly for BMW X3/X4 Models by John May

The Dorman box is correctly labeled 902-5950 but the part inside is actually 902-5161. Very similar parts, apart from the length of the mounting tabs and the 5 degree Celsius cooler, it will fit the N54 naturally aspirated NOT the N55 turbocharged. Revain sent a replacement and the same situation happened. I then spent 3 weeks in contact with Dorman before they finally admitted they had a stock issue and the part requested would not be available for at least another 30 days. Communication with Dorman was easy and responsive. Sent back for a refund.
