I live in a van full time and have Thetford Curve Porta Potti. I usually use Walex Lavender pods but as I was going to the mountains for a few months to maintain social distancing I decided to buy 30 packs of these pods. Well let me tell you what the error was. Only I, a single woman, use my toilet and have never had an odor problem unless I forgot to add a capsule. With them my toilet starts smelling after 2 days when with Walex I haven't noticed anything for about a week. I lived in my van in Southern California for a year so the summer heat doesn't matter. Now I add 3 caps every time I drain and rinse the tank and it still smells absolutely disgusting. I hate throwing things away but I can't stand the smell. The Curve has a 5.5 gallon black water tank so I can't imagine how they would perform in a larger RV tank. Found one last Walex and am so happy it will last me until my new order arrives. - sink the tank like he says he should do. I'm just convinced that Camco has inferior products at the moment.
