The fan plug is not suitable, cannot withstand the heat.

Stay away from these inferior replacement products. They can't handle the amount of power and heat that cooling fans have to handle. They are CCA copper coated aluminum wire. The OEM uses 12 g, that's 16 g. Unfortunately it took 3 rather expensive JCase backups to figure out the cause of the failures. After replacing it with the correct OEM, the issues were resolved. The connectors provided are oversized and do not have heat shrink tubing, allowing for other means of sealing the connection. Insulating tape is not suitable.
