I have speakers in my ski helmet ears. I use an extension to disable and take off my helmet without taking my phone out of my jacket. The right-angle male end allows you to tuck the cable neatly into the eartip. While the cable works well: I'm happy with the quality. In addition, the 4-pin cable is compatible with microphones and allows you to use the speaker's built-in pause button. I don't use a microphone, but I often pause music. The more common 3-pin cables do not support these additional features.
