Saves headphones on audio and video accessories

My headphones keep stopping working due to the constant movement of the cable back and forth at the end of the plug, they will fail sooner or later the same way but that Cable is thicker and more durable than the headphone cable. They wear out instead of the headphone cord and are a lot cheaper to replace than even cheap $20 headphones.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Lack of shielding makes them a flop

I used one of these on the back of a monitor to drive some desktop speakers. Unfortunately they don't have shielding or it's ineffective. I heard a constant buzzing that made her unbearable. I switched to another product and immediately the noise went away. It would probably be fine for a personal wearable device with no other clutter, but that's about it.

Plz learn from my mistake! That's great!

Ideal solution if your plug (plugs into jack) is straight rather than L-shaped and protrudes outwards, causing stress on the jack's input connector when wobbling. almost returned the cables when I discovered (MY fault) that the buttons (on/off or off) were not working on my headphones. DUHHH! I didn't fully insert the plug. They are great and solved my problem once I connected them properly! I highly recommend this.

works as it should

I have speakers in my ski helmet ears. I use an extension to disable and take off my helmet without taking my phone out of my jacket. The right-angle male end allows you to tuck the cable neatly into the eartip. While the cable works well: I'm happy with the quality. In addition, the 4-pin cable is compatible with microphones and allows you to use the speaker's built-in pause button. I don't use a microphone, but I often pause music. The more common 3-pin cables do not support these additionalโ€ฆ

Works great, doesn't affect onboard controls or phone sound quality

Purchased for use with headsets and headphones to protect their connectors from deformation and damage. So far they're working great. I chose them with a cable instead of a simple little adapter to reduce the horizontal length of the ports where they connect to the phone. This further reduces the load on the headset jacks. They don't interfere with the controls on the headset cords (call answer/media controls/volume control) at all. They do not affect the sound quality in any way.

  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Everything is fine

I bought this primarily to connect a Beyerdynamic MMX 300 headset to my 2019 Macbook Pro and it works excellent for this, both for the microphone and for the microphone and for headphones. The built-in multimedia button on the headset cable also works perfectly. I can also confirm that it works with the PS5 controller. The cable appears to be well made but I'm sure like all cables like this that get a lot of tugging and moving it will eventually fail but the main reason for me buying them is to

Unreliable (update)

Didn't expect any issues with this but I was wrong. The end of the jack does not fully connect to the 3.5mm plug on my Apple headphones. It works if you press hard enough, but it doesn't "lock" fully and often comes loose. When answering a phone call, the caller could not hear me through the headset microphone several times. I will look for another product. Update: I'm increasing my rating from two to five stars. I found another product but it had the same problem. However, when I pushed theโ€ฆ

Sturdy, flat AV accessories

I use these as standard headphones (no mic or buttons) and they work great. I bought them because of the low profile which means they don't stick out as far from the player as regular jacks, creating the possibility of damage if not rolled properly in your pocket. They're pretty good at that. No problems with sound. The male side suits my player perfectly. The female side is quite tight, could possibly be a bit tighter, but there is no play/disconnection. I haven't had any issues with theโ€ฆ
