This is exactly the replacement I was looking for. My old charge controller had 3 LEDs which basically didn't tell me anything useful. This land of winds is ideal. Look at the menu and it tells me how many amps (forget watts and volts, amps charge your batteries) the solar array is delivering to the batteries. Another press of the button reports the battery voltage and battery temperature. Plugging your 12 volt lightbulbs, radio or whatever into the charging ports will show you how much power your device is using while in use. I used to have to rely on a multimeter to tell me that. This device is very convenient to use. Don't settle for less.
