The description says they are made from 'durable PVC' so I expected the plastic to be sturdy but they are so soft you'd think they were cardboard covered in faux leather. I don't plan on taking it apart to find out for sure, maybe it's just soft and flimsy plastic inside. Faux leather is pleasant to the touch, soft and fluffy inside. No added glue that you sometimes see on faux fur panels. does his job. I'm also happy to see a pack of two glasses as I can put one on my bedside table and the other on my desk where I switch between glasses. They fit perfectly with regular glasses but not my Over-Rx sunglasses. They may be too small for large regular sunglasses.
