After doing a little research to find the best camera mount for capturing video from above (on a table), I realized that I would have to spend over $100 on a good tripod to either get it to mount on it, or a complicated setup with random bits. .So when I stumbled across this for about $60 I was hopeful but a little skeptical. I'm so impressed! I've used the Canon 60d with a range of different lenses and it performs really well. I took the shot from above with a tripod at table height, legs of different lengths, legs in different directions and at different heights. It supports the weight of the camera very well and I find the ball head to be quite strong. The center post is also height adjustable, which is very handy! Not as quick as a regular quick release, but better than twist and turn. The leveler on this one is really awesome and I'm glad they added this feature. The leg height adjustment is also very easy to use and the tripod folds easily into a bag. definitely recommend. I am very happy with this tripod.
