Review on Fender Rack by Steadyrack: Ultimate Bike Storage Solution by Chris Munns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product, high quality, durable, easy to install.

I bought two packs for two road bikes and a separate fender pack for two cruisers that took up too much space in my garage. Easy shipping was fast and they shipped via USPS. The packaging was compact and easy to open with a office knife. I've been following this company since they were on Kickstarter and saw their videos so I knew what to expect when I got their product. The shelves themselves are well built and you can tell a lot of attention has been put into everything from the design, the packaging, the instructions, their website etc. Before you start you will need the following items: box opener, tape measure, pencil, Phillips screwdriver, socket wrench , spirit level, 13mm socket and the instructions say 10mm and 8mm drill bits but I used 1/4" and 3/16" drill bits. I also bought a Revain spike finder to make sure my holes were in order. Steady Rack has a great installation video on their website stablerack.com/video, but their instructions are also pretty clear and are written in both metric and imperial units. measurements. It is very clearly stated that you must install the Steadyrack in stud or masonry or the 12 month warranty will be void. Steadyrack should not be attached directly to drywall. Installation took about 10 minutes per rack. I'm glad they made these versions of the fenders because they worked great with the fenders on my cruiser bikes. Overall this is a high quality product and well worth the price paid considering it will last for many years. It frees up valuable space, holds the bike without damaging or stressing the tires or frame, and is very easy to load and unload. This is also a great company with great customer service and 100% behind their product.
