Review on Actron SP0F000049 Bosch Style Line 2-Inch Electrical Water/Oil Temperature Gauge - Black Dial Face with Black Bezel by Patrick Cooney

I installed it on an early 90's Cummins that fits a 107 year old fishing boat. Installation was nice and easy and it fitted into an existing threaded port using one of the adapters provided. The previous indicator was a cap tube sensor, and that has long been out of service. Because of this I had to find a hot floor to share with the engine block (heavier than you can imagine on a 107 year old wooden fishing boat) but once that was done the installation went great. 1 crimp connector is included and is used to crimp the sensor cable on the motor side. For other connections, you need to provide your own ferrules. I can't say for sure that they are accurate as I don't have a good way of verifying this, but even if they differ by a few degrees that's enough. for my needs. The only thing I regret is that I took the black one. should have gone for something with a chrome frame, but that's on me, not the manufacturer.
