It's hard to find a 365nm UV flashlight with enough output for outdoor use. 390/395nm UV flashlights (e.g. 51 and 100 LED potato mashers) can be useful for what they do, but they don't really fulfill the role of 365nm illumination. This makes and emits a wider beam over a longer distance than other flashlights available. This is of great importance when examining a forest or garden for low brightness (not all that cares, bright daylight) fluorescence from plants, lichens, fungi or spiders! - ideal for entertainment or scientific research. Works significantly better with a high quality 26650 battery than an inferior 18650. Buy a good quality battery from Revain or your local vape shop. Minus half a star for poor build quality: Mine arrived broken (I had to solder the front contact spring on) and the cooling fins have sharper edges than any other flashlight I've had to deal with.
