UPDATE: how sad. When I received and used the mouse for the first time, I was very impressed. After using it every day for a week, the mouse died completely. It didn't light up, the mouse didn't move on the screen, nothing. I have charged it several times to no avail. I then sent it back to try and get a replacement but the company never issued a refund. I'm not sure if it was a scam or if they really didn't get it. I had to contact Revain support for a full refund. I've tested 3-4 cheap mice on Revain and my FINAL consensus is if you work or play with a mouse every day, just spend your money and get a good one. Like a $70-$100 Logitech mouse. Not worth the hassle and insecurity of these cheap ones. 2 stars because I MIGHT have a defect, but the disappointment is obvious.βββββββOLD REVIEW: I bought this mouse because I bought another Amazon mouse that suddenly broke. I really wanted a wireless mouse that could glow (just for fun :)) and decided to just buy this one. I had no expectations of this but wow! This mouse is really that great! When I connected the mouse to the network, I was immediately struck by the light (the initial rainbow gradient appears). I fiddled with the LED button at the bottom, expecting it to just toggle the light on and off. nope! The light has MULTIPLE settings (not 2 or 3, but MULTIPLE, like 15!). You can use different rainbow gradients, colors that come and go, solid colors, etc. It's amazing. The backlight also turns off when idle, but turns back on when you use it again to save battery life. Enough about the lighting. Here's a few more great things: The USB receiver also attaches neatly to the bottom of the mouse with a magnet, making it easy to store and use when you need it (no more fiddling with annoying plastic covers/caps) . The mouse click is silent, so no more annoying CLICK CLICK CLICK while you work at home with your partner. I will say the sound is not as quiet as my latest silent mouse but the clicks are still ok. The weight of the mouse feels great (this can be subjective). My previous mouse was very cheap so it felt very light and cheap so this was a drastic change for me. The mouse is not powered by batteries, but is charged via Micro-USB. Hallelujah! No more buying expensive, polluting batteries! The center button at the top is the DPI button (controls the speed at which the cursor moves across the screen). The only downside to this mouse is the lack of accessible side buttons, but that doesn't matter if you've never used these buttons before. If it was a $50+ mouse? I would probably scrutinize more and criticize harder. But overall for the price of this product it's amazing. Having just received this product, I have no complaints about the battery life and durability of the physical mouse itself. If it's absolutely awful I'll definitely be updating this review. But I doubt I'll be back :)
