These are like cheap plastic clips. I've seen a number of great reviews and while they're not bad, there's certainly not much to write about either. A lot of reviewers say they are suitable for long hair, but I'm wondering what their definition of "long" is. My hair is about halfway up the back (not quite, maybe between 1/3 and 1/2) and even though they do CLIP, a lot more hair comes out of the hair clip than in it. I also have thin hair so it's not like I have a very thick mane. They're also no softer than any other plastic clip you buy, so I don't understand why people claim they're so soft and smooth. I don't hate these clips and bought them to use, but I definitely wouldn't buy them in the future and wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for a clip.
