They were easy to install, it took longer to remove the inner ring of the old light than to install the new one. I had to unscrew the inner shell of the old lantern and I was able to get it out, I screwed it in and I had to twist a little to make it snap into place. They're really bright, I was expecting a little wider lighting range, but with a gimbal on it I can direct the light where I want it to be in focus.
