I have a Lenovo ThinkPad laptop and found it to sound perfect when I'm away from home. It didn't work at first. I connected this monitor directly to my laptop using the included USB-C cable. The portable monitor turned on but soon went to sleep and I couldn't get my laptop to recognize that it was plugged in. THEN I connected my laptop to the docking station in my home office, which was already recognizing my desktop monitors. From there, I plugged this portable monitor directly into my laptop while it was still connected to my docking station. All monitors were detected including this portable monitor! I then unplugged the laptop from the docking station, but the portable monitor was still showing. Since then, I've been able to use my laptop and this portable monitor with ease. Success! Hope this works for anyone else having issues.
